Before you leave the Netherlands to either return to your home country or move on to the next foreign assignment there are many things that need to be organized.

We have prepared the following checklist to assist you:
  • Cancel automatic payments 
  • Close bank accounts
  • Contact cleaners to clean house after moving out
  • Contact real estate agent advising end of contract 
  • Notify Alien Police, return Dutch ID card
  • Notify City Hall 
  • Notify doctor and dentist, collect medical records
  • Notify gas, water, light, cable company
  • Notify international mover
  • Notify international school (if applicable)
  • Notify telephone provider, cancel telephone connection
  • Notify the post office of change of address and your mail forwarding instructions
